I’m sharing this recipe because first of all, Raksha Bandhan is around the corner and I thought this Instant Kalakand is a lovely option for this occasion. Secondly, The ingredient list of this recipe is super short and the cooking time takes around 20 minutes. Isn’t this sounds amazing? Trust me guys, This going to be show-stopping sweet for any occasions!!

Now some of you might be wondering what exactly Kalakand is? well, It’s a sweet milk and cheese dessert which is made with paneer, milk, sugar and few dashes of cardamom powder, garnished with slivers or chopped pistachios.

But honestly, guys, it’s super easy to prepare this sweet recipe. All you need to let the boiled milk get curdled, then add crumbled paneer, granulated sugar and few dashes of cardamom powder in it. refrigerate for 1 hour and you have your Instant kalakand all ready. <3

Instant Kalakand

This easy and flavorful Kalakand is made with only Paneer, milk and sugar and it turned out delicious with a very little effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gm Paneer
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Malai
  • 75 gm Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

HOW TO MAKE KALAKAND

STEP 1

Grease a tin by using some ghee. line the bottoms with parchment paper and grease the sides.

STEP 2

In a kadhai, add 2 cup milk with 1 tbsp Malai. Turn the flame to high and when the milk starts boiling, turn the flame to medium. Stir until it curdles.

STEP 3

Cut 200 gm Paneer into cubes and blend well till smooth.

STEP 4

Add the crumbled paneer to the boiled milk and cook till everything thickens.

STEP 5

Afterwards, add 75 gm granulated sugar, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder. mix very well.

STEP 6

Continue cooking till everything thickens and mixture starts to separate from the pan.

STEP 7

Transfer the mixture to the greased tin and level it with a spatula. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

STEP 8

Turn the tin upside down and gently ease the Kalakand out.

STEP 9

Cut the kalakand into square or rectangle pieces and sprinkle some sliced pistachios or nuts if you want.

STEP 10

Serve the Instant Kalakand or you can store it for 15 days in an airtight container.
