Throughout my teenage life, I remember, my relatives visiting us with a box of either Barfi or Besan-Rava Ladoo or we visiting them with these sweets. and to be very honest, I like this tradition of giving sweets because I feel like every Indian occasion and even just visiting relatives is incomplete without Mithai/ Sweets plus you get to eat free sweets.
But have you ever wondered why sweets are mandatory to give when visiting someone or have for celebration?
Well, According to Hindus, all the Indian sweets are made from sugar, milk, and ghee, which are considered to be ‘sattvic’ which means pure and can be eaten by everyone, even spiritual leaders and vegetarians. As these sweets are made from pure ingredients, this can also be offered to the gods and distributed to the devotees in temples. Hence, we can say that handing a box of sweets is a form of pure and sweet gesture of appreciation plus who doesn’t love a sweet celebration ahead?
Today Folks, I’m sharing Besan-Rava Ladoo Recipe because I needed another ah-mazing mithai Recipe to add in my “Sweets recipes” collection and This Mithai recipe has my heart- Besan-Rava Ladoo Recipe Because They are just too convenient and easy to make and I stand no chance in resisting.
