This Rava Potato Cutlet is probably the best snack recipe you’ll ever make because It has so much flavour and easy to make and can be ready in less than 10 minutes. also, it only takes 7 ingredients which you can easily find in your kitchen pantry.
While we’re at it, let’s talk about how easy and fun is it to make Rava Potato Cutlet, first, we sauté the spices and mix Rava and water in it. Not to mention, the mixture will get thicker and looks creamier, which you might try to eat it? lol. Afterwards, add boiled potatoes and mix until it forms into a dough. Now, make a bunch of small balls from the dough and fry and serve or you can just eat it all alone.

Rava Potato Cutlet
- 3 Boiled potatoes (Medium-sized)
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 6-8 Grated garlic
- 1 Green chilli (Chopped)
- 5-6 Chopped curry leaves
- 1/2 Cup Semolina/rava
- Salt as required
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 tsp Chilli flakes
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
- Oil for frying
STEPS TO MAKE RAVA POTATO CUTLET
Boil and grate 3 medium-sized potatoes.
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan on medium flame. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, grated garlic, 1 chopped green chilli and 5-6 chopped curry leaves. Sauté for a min.
Afterwards, add 1/2 cup semolina/Rava and salt as required. Mix and add 1 cup water. Cook on low flame.
Now, add 1 tsp chilli flakes, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and 1/4 tsp garam masala powder. Mix everything well and turn off the flame.
Add grated potatoes and mix.
Furthermore, add 1 tbsp coriander leaves. Knead lightly and Roll out into dough.
Take a small piece of dough and roll it into a ball ( make sure apply oil on your palm before rolling) then flatten a bit. you may give any types of shape you desire like a square or circle, etc. Do the same process with the other dough balls.
Pour the oil into heavy bottom non-stick on medium flame and gently drop the dough balls one by one into the oil. After a min, flip them one by one. Deep fry them until they turn light brown in colour.
Take them out and place them on napkin or paper towel in a plate to absorb excess oil.
Serve them hot along with sauce or mayonnaise and Enjoy!
