- 4 Chopped Cashews (optional)
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder

STEPS TO MAKE RICE KHEER
Add 3-4 tbsp water in a heavy bottom pan (this will prevent malai from getting stick at the pan). Now, add 1-litre raw milk. turn the flame on medium and bring it to a boil. (Stir often so that milk doesn’t stick at the bottom of the pan.)
Rinse 1/4 cup Basmati rice until the water becomes clear and soak the rice in enough water for 25-30 mins.
Afterwards, add rice in the boiled milk. cook on low to medium flame for 25-30 mins and make sure to stir every 5 mins or so. Turn the flame to low after 30 mins and add 6 tbsp sugar or add as required. continue to cook until the Rice Kheer becomes thick.
Now, add some raisins, chopped cashews, almonds and 1/4 tsp cardamom powder. mix well and cook it for 5 more mins. switch off the flame.
Garnish with some sliced pistachios and serve the Rice Kheer.
