White Sauce Pasta Recipe|Béchamel Sauce Pasta|Creamy white pasta sauce
Whilst we’re at home, this is the perfect time to cook whatever your heart desires, so here I’m coming with a new recipe. WHITE SAUCE PASTA. I don’t know about you but Pasta is the most important food for me. this has to be the dish which I crave the most. It’s just one of those recipes, you almost can’t break it. by the way, I have made a couple of small changes to the traditional recipe because I thought some might not be able to buy the ingredients due to the lockdown or some might not be able to afford it so this is not the original Italian pasta recipe but let me tell you It offers vitamins and nutrients from all sorts of colourful fresh vegetables. A basic Italian pasta dish with a great taste, trust me on that. It’s so simply made, but it’s so luxuriously creamy. This awesome recipe is perfect to enjoy in the evening while watching a sunset or it can become a satisfying dinner not to mention it makes a lovely side dish also. What is white Sauce Pasta Recipe ?

Yes, the manufacture of Pasta is from semolina. Apart from that, pasta doesn’t cause any weight gain or increase in body fat.
What is al dente?
Al dente means slightly firm and chewy, rather than soft.
How can i make an healthy pasta?
- You can add oats instead of all-purpose flour while making white sauce.
- Add more veggies AKA load your dish with fibre.
- cook it al dente.
- Add protein.
How long will fresh pasta last for in the fridge?
Approximately 1- 2 days in the fridge.

White Sauce Pasta
- FOR BOILING PASTA :
- 1/2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 200 gm Macaroni pasta (you can use any type of pasta)
- FOR SAUTEEING VEGATBALES :
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil/butter
- 1 Capsicum (chopped in medium sized cubes)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- salt as required
- FOR WHITE PASTA SAUCE :
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 300 ml chilled milk
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chilly Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 Bay leaf (optional)
- 2 cloves (optional)
STEPS TO MAKE WHITE SAUCE PASTA
HOW TO COOK WHITE SAUCE PASTA
Boil 1.5 L water in a large pot or skillet and add 1tsp vegetable oil,1 tbsp salt along with uncooked pasta. Cook the pasta on a high flame and continue to Cook till pasta gets done to an al dente. Afterwards, drain and set aside.
For making bechamel sauce or white sauce, add 2 tbsp butter in a pan and quickly add 2 tbsp all-purpose flour before the butter melts. Keep the flame low to medium. stir continuously to avoid the formation of lumps. Keep stirring until you get a nice fragrant from the flour. Don’t brown the flour.
Now slowly pour 300 ml chilled milk while frequently stirring to avoid lumps. Keep the flame on low. Stir until the sauce starts to get creamy and thick. Add 2 cloves and a bay leaf for more pleasant taste. ( this is optional )
Afterwards, season with ½ tsp Black pepper powder, ½ tsp Italian seasonings, ½ tsp oregano, ½ tsp chilli flakes and salt as required (I added ½ tsp salt), Cheddar cheese (optional) and mix it well.
Turn off the flame. Remove the bay leaf and cloves from the sauce and keep the sauce aside.
In another pan. Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil (you can add butter also). Once the oil heats, add 1 chopped onion, 1 tsp minced garlic. Cook for a min.
Now, add capsicum (chopped in medium-sized cubes). sauté for 1 min. (you can add more veggies like broccoli, corn, mushrooms etc if you want)
Afterwards, add the drained cooked pasta, turn the flame to high and mix it. Add a pinch of salt. Sauté for 1 min.
Add white sauce and mix very well. Turn off the flame.
Serve white sauce pasta immediately out of the pan. and top with fresh parsley, chilli flakes and more grated cheese or parmesan cheese if desired.
