Overview
Aloo Sandwich Toast is a quick, budget-friendly, and filling snack made with mashed potatoes, spices, and bread. It’s perfect for breakfast, evening tea, or even a light meal. Crispy outside and soft inside, this recipe needs minimal ingredients and can be prepared in under10- 20 minutes.

Ingredients:
Following ingredients are required.
- Oil – for deep/shallow frying
2. Bread slices – 6 (white or brown)
3.Boiled potatoes – 3 medium
4.Green chili (finely chopped) – 1
5. Ginger paste – 1 tsp
6. Chopped coriander – 2 tbsp
7. Red chili powder – ½ tsp
8. Garam masala – ½ tsp
8. Salt – to taste, Black salt preferred
9. Lemon juice or amchur – ½ tsp
9. Bread crumbs – 1 cup (for coating)
10. Cornflour slurry – 2 tbsp cornflour + 3 tbsp water

Instructions: STEP BY STEP PROCESS
First,we prepare the filling by mixing mashed potatoes, finely chopped onion, green chili, and fresh coriander in a bowl. then we Add salt, spices, and a little lemon juice, then mix everything well until we get a smooth and flavorful stuffing. Next, we assemble the sandwich by applying butter on the bread slices and spreading green chutney if desired. Place a generous layer of the potato mixture evenly on one slice and cover it with another slice of bread.
Now, we heat a pan or sandwich toaster and apply butter on the outer sides of the sandwich. Toast it on medium heat until both sides turn golden brown and crispy. Once done, we remove from the pan, then cut into pieces if needed, and serve hot with ketchup or chutney for a delicious snack.

- Once the mashed potato mixture is ready, spread it evenly over the bread slices, then optionally add a layer of cheese for enhanced taste. Place another slice of bread on top to cover the filling, press gently, and your sandwich is ready to be toasted or served as desired.

After covering the bread slices, it can be baked for better taste. For baking ghee or any healthy oil can be used. If one is very health conscious, one can skip this baking process, for oil free baking Air Frayer or micro-oven can be used.

Now for serving we can further cut the slices of bread into half and cane be served in plates with chutney

- Serve with chutney or ketchup and chai ☕
