Moringa Leaves Atta-Besan Chilla is a quick, nutritious and filling Indian breakfast made with fresh moringa leaves, wheat flour (atta) and gram flour (besan). It combines the goodness of leafy greens with the protein and fibre of besan and the complex carbohydrates of whole wheat.
The batter is prepared by mixing finely chopped moringa leaves with atta, besan, onion, green chilli, ginger and mild spices. A little curd can be added for softness. The batter is then spread on a hot tawa and cooked with very little oil until golden and crisp.

- Moringa leaves – 1 cup,
- finely chopped Besan (gram flour) – ½ cup
- Wheat atta – ½ cup
- Onion – 1 small,
- finely chopped Green chilli – 1,2
- finely chopped Ginger – ½ tsp,
- grated Cumin – ½ tsp
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Ajwain – ¼ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Curd – 2 tbsp (optional, makes it softer)
- Water – as required
- Oil – 1–2 tsp for cooking

Step by step process for making Moringa Leaves Atta-Besan Chilla
- 1. first of all we take bowl and fresh moringa leaves are taken, then we separate leaves. we Wash the moringa leaves thoroughly, remove the thicker stems and chop finely.
- 2. In a bowl, we combine atta, besan, moringa leaves, onion, chilli, ginger and spices and other spices as per requirement

- 3. We Add curd and gradually add water to make a smooth, medium-thick batter. ensure that it is not watery.

- 4. Rest the batter for 5–10 minutes for stability of batter so that water is absorbed uniformly. after about 10 minutes we mix the batter again, if water is required, we add more.
- 5.Heat a non-stick or iron tawa and lightly put lightly oil over it

- 6. after that we Pour a ladleful of batter and spread into a thin round chilla. over the heated tawa. after spreading we cover the tawa with lid, so that upper portion is also cooked evenly.


- 7. we Cook on medium heat until the underside becomes golden in color, after removing lid, we add a little of oil over chilla and flip the chilla other side.

8. now Moringa Leaves Atta-Besan Chilla is ready for serving. we take out in a plate
9. now we can Serve hot with curd, mint chutney or tomato chutney. here it is served with curd chutney.
